And taught your son to do this to your back yard?
Fortunately the end result was laid sprinkler lines and a non-injured back for Travis.
It is actually kind of nice that he was able to do all of this. It probably saved us quite a bit of money. He prepared our yard for this...

1500 sq ft of sod. Some of you may be thinking, isn't that more than what their house is? Yes, it is but we'd rather have the space outside than in, especially with the pool. So- that leads to this...

And so it begins...

And so it begins...
While this was going on outside, poor little Wyatt was inside doing this...
About 22-23 hours prior to this, he got 5 shots at his 5 year check up...
let me give you mothers a piece of advice, never let your child get 5 shots at once. 2 of them could have waited and looking back, I should have opted to wait. They all needed to be given eventually...I just suggest never letting your children get that many at once. As you can see, they kicked his sweet little rear. He fought fever off and on and then ended up getting bronchitis the next week. He had been up for a bit and then requested to put jammies back on and as you can see, he was too tired to do that...he got as far as laying on them. After a little ibuprofen, he was as good as new(until the medicine wore off) and outside, doing what he does best, getting dirty.

This is why we were able to do it so cheap! :-)
The end result is this...

your backyard is HUGE! I insist that we come over for a BBQ. We'll bring the meat. MMM meat.
After this beef recall, I retract my previous statement. I'll bring chicken.
Also, poor Wyatt! Five shots is a lot, I think J's gotten four at his 2 month check up? It was horrible.
I'm so jealous of your huge backyard. I bet your kids LOVE it!!
Excellent thought, putting the kiddos to work. September's getting some great biceps. Now I know who to call next time I need our backyard done. How manly.
Oh Karin, that grass is dreamy. I am so happy for you guys to have such a beautiful and HUGE backyard.
I'm sorry Wyatt has been so sick.
We are very thankful for the house to begin with... but also for the pool AND a yard! We'll definitely have to have some BBQ/swim parties!
Beautiful yard! What great family memories you guys will make there :)
