The sequence of filling...
At this point my stomach is beginning to show
signs that it understands the reality of the H2O
bill. The water had to run all night, the water ran
for almost exactly 23 hours straight! UGH!
April and Wyatt can hardly wait to swim! They
just had to get wet. They tried think of anything
just to use it. April even tried bring out her new
floating cabbage patch baby to try out. I think it
will be almost torture that they can't swim in it! LOL
She couldn't resist!
DONE!
Finally, I got to shut of the water!
I think our dog secretly wants to swim ... either
that or drink out of it! She's checking to see if
I'm watching so she can sneak a drink. I've hollered
at her already not to. SICK!
We have been anxiously awaiting the finish of our new pool. I'm not sure why because we still won't be able to use it!! I guess it means the end to being woken up by strangers serenading me from my back yard!(it's right outside our bedroom window) It also means that we're one step closer to having a finished and usable backyard. We can hardly wait for warmer temperatures so that we can begin our eternal pool party! WooHoo!! I'm sure when it's 105 degrees out and I'm swimming, I'll have forgotten about the huge water bill I paid to have this luxury. I'm hoping the feeling of guilt I had last night will also disappear. I was feeling guilty last night about the amount of water we're using for this luxury and truely could not sleep last night and I think had a small panic attack.
I hope at some point, you'll all get to come and enjoy it with us!
The next post will have more kid picts!
Promise...
